Why a race to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation?
Currently, there are more than 114,000 individuals on the national transplant waiting list, desperately awaiting a life-saving organ. Every day 18 people die because there aren't enough organs available. This race seeks to bring awareness to the fact that YOU have the power to help save lives. Simply register as an organ, eye and tissue donor whenever obtaining or renewing your driver's license or do it online today by clicking here!
There's another side to this coin: It's wonderful to see how organ and tissue donation saves the lives of people with illness and need. However we first and foremost advocate for you to take safety precautions and manage safety risks, so that you might enjoy a long and healthy life!
